Bin collections on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th August will start an hour earlier, from 6am, due to the high temperatures forecast.
Any residents waiting for recovery of a missed bin, are urged to leave their bin out, in case of an earlier collection.
While bright, hot summer days are often something that we look forward to, it's important to remember that excessively high temperatures can pose a danger to our crews.
Please ensure that your bin is out the night before your scheduled collection day or prior to 6am on the morning, we will return if your bin is not out when we come to collect it, however we are urging all residents to get the message out to as many residents and neighbours, who are not on social media.
Please keep your bins washed out and clean, especially during periods of hot weather.
