Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Fees from April 2025

Derbyshire Dales District Council intends to vary the maximum fees for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers Licences, Hackney Carriage and Private hire vehicles and Private Hire Operators licences in accordance with Section 70 of the Local Government ( Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, from 1st April 2025.

Objections

Objections to the above proposals must be made in writing to the Licensing Office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by post to Grace Dowson, Licensing Manager, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Town Hall, Bank Road, Matlock, DE4 3NN no later than the 6th April 2025.

If no objections to the proposals are received within 28 days of the date of publication, or if any objections made have been withdrawn, the proposed figures will take effect from Monday 7th April 2025.

If objections are made and not withdrawn, the Council shall set a further date, not later than two months after the first specified date, when the variation shall come into force with or without modification after consideration of the objections.
