Housing disrepair enquiry

The Environmental Health service will investigate concerns about housing in disrepair. The service can investigate concerns about privately rented properties and properties rented from registered social landlords.

• Dampness and mould
• Heating and exposure to excess cold
• Gas and/or electrical installation concerns
• Housing in Multiple Occupation (HMO)
• Falls / and falling within the home (i.e. unsafe staircase)
• General disrepair of the property
