Ashbourne Reborn public meeting, 3 December 2024

With main works for the Ashbourne Reborn transformation programme due to start early in 2025, residents and business were invited to attend a series of public information events including a public meeting at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School on 3 December 2024.

The meeting was open to all and provided more detail about future plans for Ashbourne, with the opportunity to ask questions about the design, location and timing of the works. The meeting was livestreamed and recorded so that anyone unable to make it can watch online (follow the You Tube broadcast link below).

The slide pack includes the most up to date information available on 3 December 2024, including phasing plans for works and developing plans for traffic management. The visualisations are artists impressions illustrating the main elements of the scheme like wider pavements and safer crossings - the final appearance of the scheme and materials used may differ from the images. As the programme progresses, we will continue to share the latest information on the Ashbourne Reborn website and newsletters. Further drop-in opportunities will be announced so that residents and businesses in Ashbourne can find out more as work gets under way.
